All installations of the HAMweather 3 software
suite and plug-ins created by HAMweather, LLC are covered by the HAMweather
3 Software Suite License.
While it is required that you review the complete HAMweather 3 Software Suite License, the following is a break down of points dealing with the licensing of HAMweather
HAMweather 3 may be used freely for
personal, non-profit and commercial use as long as all output includes the "Powered by HAMweather" phrase and an associated link to the
HAMweather web site (www.hamweather.com) as stated per the HAMweather
3 Software Suite License. This required phrase and associated link
must be added to all custom templates developed for use with the HAMweather 3
Software Suite and plug-ins created by HAMweather, LLC and displayed on each Single Domain and/or Third Party application that uses the output from HAMweather.
A single domain is defined as either a single Top Level Domain (TLD) or any single 3rd level subdomain of a TLD. For example. www.mydomain.com, www.mydomain.net, mysite.mydomain.com and yoursite.mydomain.com are examples of four single domains, each requiring a separate subscription.
A Third Party Application is defined as any application not created by HAMweather, LLC.
The required "Powered by HAMweather"
phrase and associated link can be removed by registering HAMweather 3. The
Licensing breaks down as follows:
- Using HAMweather on a single domain requires a single license/registration, unless the "Powered by HAMweather" phrase and link to hamweather.com is displayed in all output.
- Using HAMweather on multiple single domains, requires a license for each single domain that does not display the "Powered by HAMweather" phrase and link to hamweather.com.
- Using HAMweather output, either directly or through via a third party application, to offer data feeds, via RSS, XML, Javascript or other means, requires that each single domain or third party application installation that uses the data, display the "Powered by HAMweather" phrase and a link to HAMweather.com to the end user, unless an Enterprise license is obtained.
- Using HAMweather output in third party applications, such as, but not limited too desktop applications, requires the display of the "Powered by HAMweather" phrase and a link to HAMweather.com to all users of the software product, unless an Enterprice License is obtained.
